Our History

Find Us

As far as we understand........ Our restaurant was opened in 1928 as an Islay's Dairy specializing in breakfast, lunch, ice cream and various other dairy products of the highest quality.  It operated as such, until 1970, when Islay's ceased corporate operations and its name was changed to Archer's Restaurant after its then owners family name.

Along the line, the building has been on fire three times.  One of which was on September 5, 1945 where it was very heavily damaged and re-opened by the Dever family on Friday January 4th 1946.

Much more of a detailed history to follow.
